Webinar: Dialing 9-1-1 from MLTS: Do You Know How to Comply with FCC Rules?

Written by Intrado | Jan 7, 2026 10:08:22 PM

It’s been more than five years since the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) adopted rules to implement Kari’s Law and RAY BAUM’s Act and nearly three years since compliance with those rules became mandatory. Yet, many organizations still struggle with what it means for their phone systems to be compliant. Failure to ensure compliance creates workplace safety, as well as potential monetary and reputational, risk. Recently, to clarify compliance definitions, the FCC released new compliance guidance.

You’ll learn what the FCC’s rules require, hear guidance into how organizations can evaluate their compliance and take necessary steps to become compliant, and why it is critical to evaluate both new and legacy platforms to minimize risk.

Opening remarks will be provided by Zenji Nakazawa, Chief, FCC Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau.
