Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the 911 Workflow

 

Have you thought very much about the idea of leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to deliver safer outcomes for first responders and those they rescue? That seems like heavy lifting, but let’s break it down.

What we’re beginning to see and something that we can continue to prepare for is a significant shift from voice calls to “data calls” placed by autonomous devices. Will PSAPs be able to incorporate IoT response requests into their regular workflow? Yes, of course. That is supportable. Beyond that, what can we expect when artificial intelligence, machine learning, smart devices and the cloud are introduced into the PSAP environment?
