Damon Covey serves as Chief Executive Officer of Intrado, leading the company’s strategy and operations as it advances Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) modernization and AI-enabled emergency communications solutions.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning corporate strategy, product management, and go-to-market execution, Damon has built a career focused on delivering innovative technologies that support critical customer missions

Prior to joining Intrado, Damon served as General Manager of Unified Communications at GoTo, where he was responsible for the growth and advancement of the company’s communications portfolio. He previously held leadership positions at Cox Automotive and spent 14 years in leadership roles at cybersecurity company Symantec.

Throughout his career, Damon has focused on helping organizations harness technology to solve complex challenges and drive meaningful outcomes. At Intrado, he is committed to advancing the company’s mission of helping save lives, protecting communities, and supporting the public safety professionals who serve them every day.

Joe Custer

Chief Financial Officer

Joe Custer, Chief Financial Officer at Intrado, brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience in finance, strategy, and corporate development. Before joining Intrado, Joe was CFO of Miovision Technologies, Inc., where he raised C$296M in capital and completed five strategic acquisitions within two years, driving the company's growth threefold. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University, Bloomington.

Chief Revenue Officer

Chris Allen, Chief Revenue Officer at Intrado, brings over 25 years of high-tech and SaaS expertise to the forefront of sales innovation. Known for crafting scalable processes and spearheading substantial revenue growth, Chris is an adept leader in building and guiding high-performance teams. Not only has he been instrumental in introducing new products to the market, but he has also played pivotal roles in broadening customer reach. Chris's distinguished career is marked by transformative contributions at Oseberg and TNS Technology, as well as pivotal early work at Intrado where he established and nurtured the Enterprise and Carrier sales teams. His leadership has not only driven sales success but also fostered a culture of excellence and innovation.

Liz Nguyen, Chief Technology Officer at Intrado, is an accomplished technology executive with over 20 years of experience in software development and technology strategy. Known for her innovative approach and adeptness at modernizing software solutions, Liz previously served as CTO at Vertafore, a leading software provider in the insurance industry. At Vertafore, she spearheaded the company's technological vision and drove its digital transformation initiatives in insurtech. Prior to her tenure at Vertafore, Liz held key roles in several industry-leading technology companies, demonstrating her ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver impactful results. At Intrado, Liz continues her passion for addressing customers’ evolving needs with creative technical solutions, fostering a culture of collaboration, and promoting continuous learning within her technology teams.

Brian Davenport

Chief Strategy Officer

Brian Davenport, Chief Strategy Officer at Intrado, has been with the company for 25 years. He has led Strategy, M&A, Corporate Development, Product, Regulatory, and Government Affairs. During his tenure, Brian led numerous M&A transactions for Intrado, including the acquisitions of Lucent Public Safety, Positron Public Safety Systems, ECaTS, 911 ETC, and 911 Enable.

Prior to joining the company, Brian spent more than 10 years in the wireless industry working for several large wireless carriers, including CommNet Wireless, Airtouch, and Verizon Wireless, where he was responsible for strategy, M&A, and 911 Regulatory. Brian is passionate about Intrado’s mission to save lives by improving public safety outcomes and establishing Intrado as the preeminent leader in Public Safety services.

Lou Blatt

Chief Product Officer

Lou Blatt, Chief Product Officer brings over 20 years of corporate and product leadership experience to Intrado. Blatt oversees the creation and development of innovative Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) and public safety solutions.

Gregory Clement

Head of Executive Programs

Gregory Clement, Head of Executive Programs at Intrado, brings a background in strategy, finance, and operations to the company’s most critical initiatives, partnering across the business to drive execution and accountability.

He works closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to track outcomes and drive accountability across Intrado’s highest-priority programs, partnering across functions to ensure plans translate into results.

Prior to joining Intrado, Gregory held roles in financial services from Institutional Asset Management to Private Equity, focusing on capital markets, capital allocation, and risk management.

Gregory began his career in the United States Marine Corps, where he served 12 years as an F/A-18 pilot, leading teams through high-stakes, mission-critical operations – experience that continues to shape his approach to leadership, operational execution, and organizational discipline today.

Gregory holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS from the United States Naval Academy.

Sarah Grobbelaar

VP of People & Culture

Sarah Grobbelaar, Vice President of People & Culture, is a distinguished HR professional with over two decades of experience across diverse sectors, including technology, consumer goods, and non-profit organizations. Her journey, spanning roles at Conagra Brands and Food Bank for the Heartland, has shaped her into a strategic and highly relational leader. Known for her exceptional skills in HR Business Partnership, Employee Relations, and Change Management, Sarah excels in driving positive culture and continuous improvement. Her tenure at West Corporation further honed her ability to influence leaders and staff, ensuring alignment with integrity and collaborative growth. Sarah is a passionate advocate for employees, dedicated to fostering a deep-rooted culture and aligning HR initiatives with core business objectives, ensuring a harmonious and productive workplace.

Michael Matheson

Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Secretary

Michael Matheson, Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Secretary of Intrado, has been counsel to Intrado for over 15 years and oversees all the company’s legal functions. Formerly, Mike worked in the legal department at Lumen Technologies supporting marketing and procurement divisions, and prior to that was counsel for an early cloud service provider in a joint venture between Lumen Technologies and KPMG. He began his career as an associate specializing in corporate formation and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and financing, as well as technology and real estate transactions. Mike serves as President of Intrado’s 501(c)(3) charitable organization which supports the emergency needs of employees and the extended community. Mike is a graduate of The University of Chicago Law School and Middlebury College.
