Intrado Emergency Routing Service (ERS) is now available for Cisco Webex Calling Multi-Tenant environments, giving organizations the flexibility to choose their own E9-1-1 provider across all Cisco calling deployments rather than relying on a bundled solution.
The service supports Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) on-premises, Dedicated Instance, and Webex Calling Multi-Tenant environments through native integrations that enable accurate location tracking and emergency call routing. Intrado highlights its extensive emergency communications experience, with more than 47 years in the industry, direct connections to over 6,000 Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), and a network that handles 9 out of 10 U.S. 9-1-1 calls.
The solution emphasizes end-to-end network ownership, U.S.-based emergency call relay support staffed by APCO-certified telecommunicators, broad interoperability with major communications platforms, and dedicated customer support. Additionally, organizations can enhance emergency preparedness with Intrado OneAlert™, which provides real-time notifications, geofenced alerts, and automated safety actions such as lockdowns when an emergency call is placed.
